Covid-19 Modifications

A Body of Work’s priority is to keep our patients, practitioners and staff healthy and safe at all times and we would like to assure you we are taking all possible measures to achieve this particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As providers of an essential healthcare service, we are proud to say we have been able to support our community all throughout the restrictions imposed by the Government in March this year. As a collection of small businesses, we rely on everybody’s co-operation and understanding to maintain a safe and Coronavirus-free environment so we can continue to provide the services we are famous for.

As a result, we respectfully request that you consider the following:

For anyone experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, please postpone your appointment until you have fully recovered or have officially tested negative for COVID-19.

If you have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with Coronavirus in the last 14 days, please heed the public health advice to self-isolate and/or wait until you have tested negative to the virus before attending either of our clinics.

As much as possible, please attend your appointment by yourself. Obviously children will require a parent and the elderly may require a carer to accompany them, however we would like to limit the number of people in the space generally, as much as possible.

Hand-washing facilities and an abundance of alcohol-based hand sanitisers are available at both of our locations so please help yourself to either.

Additional sanitising of our environment is helping to keep us COVID safe. To remain this way, we are diligently cleaning rooms and general areas between patients. We appreciate your understanding if this takes an extra few minutes.

In an attempt to further minimize risk, the amount of linen used in the rooms has been reduced so our treatment style has been modified accordingly. As a result you will remain fully clothed during your consultation so please wear something comfortable and flexible or loose. The practitioners have so many techniques available to them that don’t require oil on the skin to achieve the desired result.

Both disposable masks and gloves are available for your use on request.
